RPG OUTFITTER

For the Guild

RPGO lets the guild keep the most up to date roster of the guild. Unlike the guild portal roster, you no longer have to update your level or class. As a bonus, when each member uses the addon, you have access to the following:

1. Their craftables – and the materials required to craft
2. Their quests- see that someone is planted in STV or loaded on ZF quests? Contact them to group up!
3. It also tracks their reputation and honor.
4. You can also compare spec’s and see how everyone has built their character. (Please don’t judge anyone on theirs, but it may help you decide or ask questions on what you are planning on doing.)
5. Can sort via level range, classes, races, locations, and Mains/alts of.

Personally

1. You can also see your character’s inventory, bank items, time played, gold, hearths, and mail.
2. All displayed items, have mouse over text to see the description/stat bonuses.
3. Please see the roster page for addons needed for this.

3. Optional- Want your picture to show up in the inspect/equipment ? Download and Install PaperDoll. Read the Paperdoll Help Page on how to use this addon to upload your picture.

4. Optional: Having trouble staying logged into your RPGO account while on guild portal? Download and use the FireFox Web Browser.

OTHER ADDONS

Group Calendar (Do a manual configure, use guild channel for the channel). Used to schedule meetings, parties, instances, raids, or just to note special occassions! The guild can post raid events and members can post events for dungeons they need to do quests for. Additionally, players can provide feedback to the event's sponsor saying that they will or won't be attending an event.

CT Raid Assist: (For better communication in raids, among other enhancements.) In short, CT_RaidAssist reports hp, mana, buffs, and debuffs of anyone or everyone in your raid. You can set it to notify when someone is debuffed with specified types as well as notify when buffs you can recast fade.

KLH-Threat Meter/OMEN like a damage meter, except it records your threat. By monitoring all the abilities you use and checking your talents, armour set bonuses and buffs, the addon can recreate the threat list of a mob. This makes tank transitions simple, and allows DPS to maximise their damage without pulling aggro. In the past, the both addons would speak to each other. We are trying to get everyone on Omen2.
Gatherer - See who's plucking your nodes!  Gatherer FAQ - dont' need Gatherer Share anymore?

GuildSpam or MultiMail -
Mail everyone in guild to remind them of your event, ask questions, or just say hi! (these are outdated, but still work)

Rating Buster - RatingBuster started out as an addon that converts combat ratings in your tooltips into percentages, so that you have more meaningful information when comparing different items.
- Supports talents, buffs and racials that modify your stats for all classes
- Fully customizable, decide what you need to see and what you don't want.
- Rating Conversion: Converts combat ratings into percentages.
- Stat Summary: Summarizes all the stats from the item itself, enchants and gems, converts them to base stats and displays the total value and/or difference from your current equipped item.
Guild Launch Character Profiler: This is similar to RPG Outfitter, but is built into the character settings & Roster options on the guild launch website. Why use both?  Personal preference, until otherwise stated.  Guild Launch is relatively new, but hopefully we'll be able to only use one in the future. RPGO also has the capactity to update automatically (via PC Uniloader).
PLEASE NOTE:
Many of our guildies use several addons and user interface modifications. If you have one you like or don't like let us know or ask us for help!

Required Addons

Omen Threat Meter: Omen is a threat meter. Basically, enemies in WoW decide who to attack by deciding who is the most threatening based on the abilities you use. What Omen attempts to do is provide reasonably accurate estimates of your group's relative threat level on individual enemies, so that you can see when you're in danger of pulling aggro (or, if you're next on the snack list if your tank bites it). This info is usually only critical in raids, where only tanks can survive aggro, but it's useful for any multi-player situation.

CT-Raid Assist: In short, CT_RaidAssist reports hp, mana, buffs, and debuffs of anyone or everyone in your raid. You can set it to notify when someone is debuffed with specified types as well as notify when buffs you can recast fade. We've added 5 'MT Target' options which allow you to specify up to 5 MainTanks's which users can then select which 1-5 they want to show. When shown, it will show you the target of the person set as MT. It's a bit similar to EQ's Target's Target function though with this, the tank doesn't even have to be your target. We've set it to allow key binding for recasts on notification, so it will say 'player' has been debuffed by 'debuff name', press 'key' to cure. It queues debuffs so you can press the same key x times and cure x people.

B You can sort the groups by group, class, or custom sort, and show as many or as few groups as you like. Each group is movable and colors are customizable so you can customize it to your liking. Another addition is the ability to use /rs alerts, which send an on screen alert to everyone using the mod. '/rs Move to me!' would show: 'TS: Move to me!' in user-specified color in the middle of the screen for example. The best way to fully see what it's capable of is to actually see it in use.

Deadly Boss Mods or Big Wigs :

  • Boss mods for all raid bosses
  • Colored raid warnings!
  • Bars can be enlarged/ moved when they are about to expire
  • Special effects like the screen flash and the screen shake effect to draw your attention on critical events.
  • Bars can change their color over time and flash before they expire
  •

    HOW TO INSTALL ADDONS

    Exit "World of Warcraft" completely

    1. Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods" Download & Save the mod .zip/.rar files to this folder.
    2. If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
    3. Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
    4. Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!

    Windows

Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor: Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.

WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"

WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed

    Mac Users

StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory. Verify your WoW Installation Path That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.

    Move to the Addon folder
Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:Program FilesWorld of Warcraft)
Go into the "Interface" folder. Go into the "Addons" folder.
In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder. The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.

    Both Systems: Continue Here

    1. Move the "Addonname" folder into the "Addons" folder

    2. Start World of Warcraft

    3. Make sure Addons are installed Log in At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button. If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.

If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.

There are a couple of Add-ons that Your Quest Log is Full uses and promotes between our guild members. Although none are required for general membership, but are highly recommended for community development and game enhancement - if you are able to use them.
