Friends & Alliances

YQLIF participates in several formal and non formal small guild and/or raiding alliances. Type " /join thelog " while in game to meet more people that should be behaving like us. This includes the guilds Sound of Inevitability, Knights Vindication, and Attica. They are casual family guilds much likes ours, as well as the guilds listed on the left. If you plan on raiding or grouping, please make sure to read their policies, and introduce yourself - as although we are similar in ideals, there are differences in loot rules, raiding rules, and more :) If you no longer maintain a relationship with the friends and family within them, please remove yourself.

Raiding is a different community for a reason. The material takes dedication. Quest Log does not raid for progression, but occassionally will look at the content. Please be prepared, considerate, and read all the information from each guild you go on a run with. Even though we are a casual guild, there is no easy way to tackle this content without putting up these rules and guidelines to keep everyone on the same page. Those who want to raid faster than what's actually happen will need to put the effort to pull together the resources to make it happen. For casual raiding, please check the Attica calendar, and for more serious & DKP raiding, please visit the SoI calender. Each guild brings different styles, days/times, and leadership to their raid events, while still maintaining the casual, family nature of their guilds.

 

What are the "secret" areas?

    Applications: Accepted & Rejected Applications are filed for all members to see. "Other" Applications (i.e ally GM/members/Friends) are for Elder Access.
    Admin Info: A summary of guild members, birthdays, anniversaries, who has been in the spotlight, and renewal dates/login info for guild subscriptions. Ash keeps this in an excel file.
    Beta Forums (when applicable): This is a forum for those with Beta Acccess; we like to keep things modest around here :). A few other forums are not viewable for the public and are specifically for guild members and/or our registered friends.
    The Elephant (when applicable): Usually used for alliance officer type of questions, or try to call out the big pink elephant in the room before going guild wide.
    As far as access is concerned, we have the following groups: Wookie, Council, Elder for our guild and allies, raid leaders, beta access, and public.

 

There's a lot of great information and resources available from the website and from our guild members. Please don't hesitate to ask or voice a concern. We want everyone to be, at the very least, heard. Many are shortcutted/hot linked on every page on the left side!If you think we have a high level council board for guild issues, we don't. Everything gets discussed & decided right here!
